Yesterday Christy and Diana instructed 12 women on some disc golf technique. Drives were covered and Christy got all the newcomers out to 150′ except an 8 year old girl, but she hit 100′ and learned to keep the disc level and straight.
Diana went over forehand, tomahawks, thumbers, and rollers and repeatedly hit the 290′ fence (yes with tommys) to the amazement of some of the guys looking on.
This was a PDGA innovation grant clinic and was sponsored by Innova, the IDGC, & Disc Stalker. Special thanks to Dave at Disc Stalker for letting us use his back yard and for hooking the girls up with a $20 voucher.
